1. The service
Mileage Blocker Detect provides an independent, non-invasive inspection of a single motor vehicle intended to assess whether its displayed mileage is consistent with the evidence available, together with a basic pre-purchase inspection and a third-party vehicle history report. We do not dismantle the vehicle beyond what can be done without damage and with the owner's consent.
2. Nature of our findings
Our report is a professional opinion based on the evidence available at the time of inspection. Vehicles differ greatly in how much mileage data they store, and sophisticated tampering may leave no detectable trace. We do not guarantee that a vehicle has or has not been tampered with, and our report is not a warranty of the vehicle's condition, history or value.
3. Fees and payment
The fee for a standard inspection is $1,995 per vehicle within the 48 contiguous states, plus $500 for each additional vehicle inspected at the same location, payable in advance. Card payments are processed by Revolut; we do not receive or store your card details.
4. Access to the vehicle
You are responsible for arranging, or authorizing us to arrange, access to the vehicle and the seller's consent to inspection, including connection of diagnostic equipment.
5. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel, or the seller refuses access, before we have booked travel, we will refund the fee in full. After travel has been booked, we will refund the fee less any non-refundable travel costs already incurred. If we attend and are refused access on arrival, the fee is non-refundable. If we cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any inspection is limited to the fee paid for that inspection. We are not liable for any decision you make to purchase or not purchase a vehicle.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
