From booking to verdict
You tell us where the car is. We handle everything else — travel, history check, inspection and a clear written verdict, usually before the seller loses patience.
Book & pay online
Send us the listing, VIN, seller details and location, and pay the flat $1,995 fee securely by card. We confirm availability and your inspection date — usually within 1–3 days of booking, subject to seller access.
Desk research before we fly
We pull a full CARFAX vehicle history report and review the listing, title and service history you've been given. Recorded odometer readings, title transfers, auction appearances and gaps in the record all shape what we focus on when we arrive.
We fly out from Las Vegas
Flights, hotel and rental car are on us. We coordinate access with the seller directly or through you — whichever you prefer. If a seller refuses an independent inspection, that tells you something too.
The inspection
Typically two to four hours on site, covering:
- Diagnostic mileage cross-check — reading stored mileage and event data from the control modules that record it, and comparing them against the dashboard and the vehicle's service records.
- Blocker detection — inspecting the OBD port, fuse box, cluster and common fitting points for non-factory modules, connectors, splices and tape.
- Trim & cluster forensics — magnified inspection of dash trim edges, clips and fasteners for pry marks, tool marks and signs the cluster has been removed.
- Wear-versus-mileage analysis — steering wheel, gear selector, pedals, driver's seat, door cards and sills, keys, brakes, tires, glass and paint.
- Basic pre-purchase inspection — fault-code scan, road test, fluids, visible leaks, suspension and brakes, body and paint thickness readings.
Your report & verdict
You get a photo-led report: close-up, annotated photographs of every finding — trim damage around the places blockers are fitted, disturbed clips and fasteners, non-factory wiring, and wear that doesn't match the odometer — plus one of three verdicts — Consistent, Inconclusive or Inconsistent — plus a call to talk it through. If something's wrong, you'll have documented evidence to walk away or renegotiate.
Honest limits. Skilled tampering can be very hard to find, and some vehicles store far less mileage data than others. We don't promise to prove fraud on every car — we promise to look in every place it typically hides, and to tell you plainly what we found and how confident we are.
Why we use CARFAX
For US-market vehicles, CARFAX has the deepest pool of service, inspection and registration records, which means more recorded odometer readings to test the dashboard against. For grey imports or cars with time abroad, we can add a carVertical report on request, which draws on European and international data.
